He said the proposed three-year contract would set the county’s payment at "$2,400 a month, saving us roughly $735 a month," and estimated the three-year savings at about "$28,000." The board did not receive public comment on the item.
Chair moved to approve the VoIP phone contract and the motion was seconded. The board approved the contract by unanimous voice vote; the clerk noted the motion "carries." The contract was described as aligning with copier and managed IT services to simplify future vendor transitions at the end of the contract term.
The contract will take effect as approved by the board; no implementation timeline or vendor name was specified in the public discussion.
