Under state law, the commission will hold an off-site first public hearing on May 6 at the Lake Havasu Unified School District Boardroom (Building C, 2200 Havasu Pai Boulevard) to satisfy off-site hearing requirements; a second hearing and action night on the general plan will be held at the commission's regular meeting location on May 20. Staff noted the May 6 off-site meeting will limit the agenda because of the site’s limited presentation capacity.
The announcement was presented as part of the correspondence and announcements portion of the commission’s meeting; staff encouraged residents to participate during the comment period that runs through April 18.
