Auditors issue clean opinion for district financials and Measure X performance audit

Jonathan Clement of Eide Bailly presented the district’s annual audit results and the Measure X building fund performance audit. Clement reported an unmodified opinion on the financial statements and no material weaknesses, significant deficiencies or findings for financial statements, federal awards (single audit) or state compliance testing for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025. The auditors also performed performance testing of Measure X expenditures and found the district properly accounted for and expended Measure X funds in accordance with bonding requirements; no performance findings were reported.
Clement noted that a prior‑year finding related to transitional kindergarten had been implemented and that issuing unmodified opinions is the result of extensive work by the district’s fiscal team. Trustees publicly thanked fiscal services for the clean audit.
