Dawson County Board of Equalization approves tax list correction for American National Bank

Chairman PJ Jacobson called the Dawson County Board of Equalization to order at 9:00 a.m. on April 15, 2026, in the Commissioners’ Room at the Dawson County Courthouse in Lexington. County Clerk Michaela Arndt called the roll and noted Commissioner Bill Stewart was absent.
Commissioner Joe Richeson moved to approve the April 1, 2026 regular meeting minutes as presented; Commissioner Kevin Swanson seconded. The board voted aye: Rod Reynolds, Joe Richeson, Kevin Swanson and PJ Jacobson. The motion carried.
The board then considered a Tax List Correction. Commissioner Rod Reynolds moved to approve Tax List Correction #4774, listed as American National Bank, Parcel #010167333 PP (2025); Commissioner Kevin Swanson seconded. The board voted aye: Reynolds, Richeson, Swanson and Jacobson. The motion carried, approving the tax list correction.
Chairman Jacobson noted the Open Meetings Act poster was available to the public. The meeting was adjourned at 9:01 a.m. County Clerk Michaela Arndt certified that the items discussed were contained in the posted agenda and that the minutes would be available for public inspection.
