The Altoona City Council approved a task order amendment with McClure Engineering Co. for construction-related services tied to the Water System Improvements 2024 project.
Public Utilities Director Dan Scott told the council that Amendment No. 002 covers Construction Contract Administration, a Resident Project Representative, construction staking and the creation of record drawings for the Well No. 5 raw-water transmission main and the NE 80th Street finished-water transmission main. The total fee in the amendment is $462,800.
The council voted to approve the amendment by roll call, 5-0.
The amendment funds the city’s engineering oversight during construction and documents the work for project closeout and records.
