That was the biggest chunk of it," the Chair said. He reported that, after changes, the budgeted expenditures and revenues balanced to $810,007.87.
The council also discussed public access: the Chair said the tentative budget will be adopted at the May meeting and made available for at least 10 days before the June adoption hearing; budget packets are available at City Hall. With no substantive public opposition at the hearing, council member motions carried and the body voted to close the hearing.
On a separate but related agenda item, the council considered and approved Resolution 2026-4.15RMP at the request of Rocky Mountain Power to relocate a single utility pole on Mill Road. Staff explained the city's current franchise agreement dates to 1977 and will expire in 2027; the updated agreement Rocky Mountain Power provided will be reviewed later but the council said the one-time pole relocation required the requested resolution.
