Clarenceville board elects 2026 officers, approves financial resolutions

Cindy Immonen moved to nominate Dennis Myers as President; the motion passed with five yes votes, one no (Jessica Ellis) and one absence (Andrea Watt). Patrick Marietti was reappointed or elected Treasurer and Immonen was elected Vice President; Andrea Watt was nominated and approved as Secretary. The board recorded votes for each motion in the minutes.
The board also approved resolutions governing bank accounts, deposit of public monies, investment of certain funds and the signature-of-checks procedure. By recorded motion the board confirmed committee assignments for 2026, including consolidating Building & Grounds into a Bond Committee and appointing members to Education, Wellness and Policy committees.
As part of the consent items on the Jan. 8 agenda the board approved checks, electronic payments and donations listed in the minutes. The minutes record approval of checks #18060–18126 totaling $344,445.31, electronic payments of $466,395.74, and a $10,000 donation for the high school band.
The reorganization meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn at 7:45 p.m. and with no further substantive business recorded in those minutes. The board packet for Jan. 22 includes these Jan. 8 minutes as part of its regular meeting materials.
