Mayor Tom Armstrong announced that Chino Valley will expand its community disc golf course from nine holes to 18 and hold a christening ceremony on April 14 at 4 p.m.
The mayor said the course, which was previously located near the community center, will be moved and expanded to Old Home Manor to make use of open space residents have requested for recreation. “Please join us on the fourteenth at 4PM as we christen that new course,” Armstrong said.
Armstrong framed the project as a response to public demand for more recreational opportunity. He invited residents to attend the christening; no additional funding or construction timeline details were provided in the podcast.
