Kane County amends grazing zone to formally recognize county roads as historical livestock trails

Taylor Glover told the Board the revision primarily incorporates county roads (Class B & Class D) that many local livestock producers use to move animals between allotments so the county’s land-use rules explicitly recognize and allow that historic movement along county roads.
Commissioner Celeste Meyeres moved to approve the ordinance as presented; the motion carried with all commissioners present voting in favor (Brown—aye; Kubeja—aye; Meyeres—aye).
