Staff presented a brief text amendment (UDP T26004) to align the zoning code with an earlier land-use plan amendment that removed location restrictions on residential uses in the Uptown Urban Village. Planner Tyler Laforme said the text amendment simply implements the earlier policy change and allows the city to adopt specific zoning restrictions now that the land-use language was updated.
The board moved and recommended approval and the motion passed; staff will forward the amendment to the city commission for ordinance adoption.
