- Ordinance 120-25: Approved an emergency extension of the city's contract with Euclid Development Corporation for participation in the Cuyahoga Housing Consortium home program through 12/31/2026; administration reported increased down-payment assistance activity and recommended the extension. Staff said the funds are pass-through from the county, not city general fund.
- Ordinance 121-25: Authorized the mayor to enter into an agreement with Cleveland Illuminating Company (FirstEnergy) for proactive LED street-light fixture replacements in an amount not to exceed $108,000. Administration said prior rounds of conversion have saved energy costs and improved lighting.
- Ordinance 124-25: Adopted an emergency two-month extension (01/01/2026'/28/2026) of the county housing agreement for Euclid's charged prisoners while negotiations continue.
- Ordinance 125-25: Approved a one-year renewal of the towing and recovery contract with 3S Towing and Recovery while the city plans an RFP next year.
- Resolution 122-25: Adopted a resolution of respect, gratitude and commendation for Councilwoman Angela K. Steele, noting her service from 01/01/2022 through 12/31/2025 and listing committee assignments and achievements.
Most measures passed after brief presentations from administration; several emergency ordinances were passed after motions to suspend the rules and forego second and third readings. Council voted by roll call on multiple items and recorded 'yes' votes during the meeting.
Those votes clear the way for the administration to continue program operations (CDBG and down-payment assistance), pursue the LED streetlight upgrades with FirstEnergy, and maintain interim contracts for prisoner housing and towing while staff completes procurement work in the new year.
