President Jaros called the Euclid City Council to order on Jan. 5, 2026. The council voted to request a Liquor Board hearing for a proposed distillery application after the administration raised zoning and criminal-history concerns.
The administration told council that the application describes a distiller/manufacturer operating from a multifamily residence and that sales "have to be sold at the premises" rather than from a retail storefront. The staff presentation said the applicant has felony convictions, including drug-trafficking and weapons-under-disability counts, and recommended a formal Liquor Board hearing. After a motion by Councilman Tanner and a second, the council voted to request that hearing.
