Euclid Board of Control sets March 9 bid opening for Municipal Complex cameras, approves requisitions

The Euclid Board of Control on Feb. 23 approved routine minutes and several requisitions and scheduled a March 9 bid opening for a Municipal Complex Security Camera Enhancement project, the board’s presiding official said.
The board voted to approve the minutes from the Feb. 17 meeting after Director Stevens moved to approve and Director Iaconis seconded; the motion passed on a voice vote. The presiding official then announced that bids for the Municipal Complex Security Camera Enhancement are due to be opened on March 9 and that bid documents have been advertised and posted on the city’s website.
A staff member presented a requisition for Ohio AMS LLC in the amount of $8,240 charged to the general fund and brought by the judicial department; the staff member moved approval and the board approved the payment by voice vote.
The board also approved a requisition for Planted Geo Inc. for $26,617 from the other grants fund for planning and development. Director Grama Myers described the work as “a tree canopy assessment for the entire city” and said the cost will be reimbursed through an Ohio Department of Natural Resources grant the city previously received. The board approved that payment by voice vote.
Councilman Tanner moved to adjourn; Director Rebedu seconded and the board closed the meeting.
