Votes at a glance: Mount Lebanon board approves minutes, finance, HR, curriculum, facilities

The Mount Lebanon School District board recorded several approvals at its April 13 meeting, moving a slate of consent and action items through unanimous roll-call votes.

Items approved included minutes from recent meetings, the finance agenda (treasurer’s report, monthly bills, tax refunds, budgetary transfer, proposed final budget and a location-release item), human-resources personnel items, curriculum and instruction items (including a Bradley Center school-based mental-health agreement and student trips), and a package of facilities items (lease and rental schedules, stadium occupancy license, Mount Lebanon Aqua Club agreement, transportation and energy contracts).

A board member moved each resolution and another board member seconded; roll calls for the finance, human resources, curriculum and facilities agendas were recorded with every present director responding "Aye." Where motion text was read into the record, it followed standard board procedure and no amendments were noted on the floor during the meeting.

For the finance motion, the administration noted in discussion that the proposed final budget will be updated in May when Allegheny County issues certified assessed values and when PDE issues homestead/farmstead exemptions; final adoption is scheduled for the May 18 meeting.
