At its April 13 meeting the Nobleboro School Board approved several routine and business items: the minutes from the March meeting were approved by roll call; the resignations of board member Mike Ward and second-grade teacher Allison Kelsey Bryant were accepted; and the board approved the 2026-27 school calendar after discussion of workshop days and remote-instruction contingency for snow days.
The board also moved to accept a negotiated support-staff collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Board members voted in favor by roll call. During the finance and warrant discussion, a board staff member (Emily) said she had prepared year-to-date reports and reviewed cost centers, noting she had calculated 5 percent of each cost center to identify potential adjustments.
Additional business included choosing a one-year trial vendor for school pictures and forming a principal interview committee to meet the week after April vacation. The board adjourned after completing the agenda.
