District Engineer Thomas Korman told the Seaside County Sanitation District board on April 14 that design work is continuing on an increased-capacity Broadway Shore sewer project that the district expects to bid and build in conjunction with the Broadway Complete Streets project.
Korman said the district is also progressing an update to the SOAR master plan, led by the Wallace Group, and that staff are coordinating with neighboring jurisdictions Del Rey Oaks and Sand City on shared activities and construction planning. "We continue our efforts to coordinate with Delray Oaks and Sand City, collectively with the city of Seaside..." Korman said, adding that staff will report back on progress in future meetings.
Board members thanked staff for the update and for a focus on prevention and maintenance.
