Erie County officials on April 1 moved forward with preliminary steps toward a feasibility study on regionalizing water and sewer services and approved a slate of routine contracts and personnel actions during a 20-minute regular meeting at the Services Center.
County Administrator Hank Solowiej said a second discussion had taken place this week about regionalizing water and sewer services and that the county will issue a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to solicit professional engineering firms; a legal notice for the RFQ was provided to the Board for review.
