Ionia board approves hires, playground purchase and emergency operation plans

Superintendent Benjamin Gurk presented a recommendation to purchase playground equipment for the GSRP Bulldog Beginnings program at Boyce. Vice President Baker moved for approval and Treasurer Ellis supported the motion; the board approved the purchase 7-0.
Gurk also presented the district’s Emergency Operation Plans. Vice President Baker moved and Trustee Sieman supported approval; the plans were adopted unanimously (7-0).
