Ionia Public Schools receives 'clean' audit for fiscal 2025, auditor reports

Rehmann audit representative Peter Woldman told the Ionia Public Schools Board of Education on Dec. 16 that the district received a "clean" audit for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.
Woldman presented the audit report during the board meeting. Executive Director of Business and Finance Jammie Sprank also provided a Sinking Fund update that reported total Sinking Fund revenue of $9,510,131.91 and expenditures to date of $8,417,113.01 through Nov. 30, 2025.
Board members congratulated staff on the audit outcome during board comments. The minutes do not include details of audit findings or management recommendations beyond the auditor’s characterization of the fiscal-year result as "clean."
