Wayne County engineer: S60 overlay postponed to July; striping to begin in May

County Engineer Dillon Davenport reported to the Wayne County Board of Supervisors on March 31 that several road projects and pieces of equipment are staged and that project timing has shifted.
Davenport said two brush grinders are deployed — one northeast of Corydon and another northeast of Millerton — and that a "mantis" unit is located on old Highway 14. He told the board that the S60 overlay project has been postponed until July and that striping work on Farm-to-Market highways is expected to begin the first of May.
