The Richmond Advisory Plan Commission on March 25 elected Bruce Whistle as president and Gary Turner as vice president by voice vote.
The commission also voted to appoint two members to the plat committee — Bruce Whistle and Gary Turner — with the chair noting that other plat committee seats (including the council appointee) would be handled by the City Council. Planning staff said one former member, Laura Miller, retired January 9 and a replacement will be pursued at a future meeting.
In miscellaneous business, planning staff recommended renomination of Thomas Hill to serve as the Planning Commission’s representative on the Street Tree Commission; the commission made the nomination and approved it by voice vote.
The commission approved the minutes of its Oct. 29, 2025 meeting and accepted proof of publication for tonight’s hearing earlier in the agenda. With no further business, the commission adjourned.
