The ISD 110 School Board appointed the Superintendent as the district’s responsible authority and authorized the Superintendent to sign grant applications on behalf of the school board at the Jan. 5 organizational meeting.
The board delegated authority to District 110 Controller Mary Overby to make electronic funds transfers to a designated business administrator, chief financial officer or their designee. The Director of Special Education was appointed as the district’s homeless student representative.
By consensus, board members confirmed regular meeting dates on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, with a plan to condense December to a single meeting if necessary, and established a 10:30 PM adjournment deadline for meetings, with the option to resume business later if needed. The chair will finalize committee and representative assignments in the days following the organizational meeting; standing committees listed included Finance & Facilities, Policy & Advocacy, Negotiations as needed, Governance (as needed), and Grievance (as needed), plus a set of external liaisons and advisory roles.
The board also kept board pay unchanged for 2026–2027: $2,300 per pay for directors (total $4,600/year), $300 per pay for the chair (total $600/year) and $250 per pay for negotiations/personnel committee members (total $500/year).
