Amott elected 2026 ISD 110 board chair; Bergstrom and Kelzer-Breeden win vice-chair and treasurer posts

Acting Chair Amott was elected 2026 chair of the ISD 110 School Board (Waconia Public Schools) by acclamation during the board’s organizational meeting on Jan. 5.
Kelzer-Breeden nominated Amott for chair, and the board closed nominations before declaring Amott elected by acclamation. In subsequent officer selections, Kelzer-Breeden nominated Bergstrom for vice chair/clerk; nominations were closed and Bergstrom was elected by acclamation. Rosin nominated Kelzer-Breeden for treasurer, and Kelzer-Breeden was elected treasurer by acclamation.
Each election was conducted during the board’s organized nomination process and required no further roll-call tally; the board announced the outcomes immediately following the close of nominations. The organizational meeting followed routine procedure for uncontested officer elections, with officers to assume their roles for 2026.
