The council approved GACC No. 14 under CDBG contract 23HSGU004, allocating $63,578 to Nedgers Current Management LLC for work at 1306 2nd Street. Council members noted exterior work is nearing completion and a punch list remains before units can be rented.
Council also approved Amendment No. 1 to the CDBG water/sewer contract 23WSD017, raising the project budget to $4,285,822 to reflect higher bid prices. Staff said the project is roughly 80% grant-funded and discussed the city’s local share and added engineering costs; staff also said bond financing for downtown projects will be considered in the fall.
