Ordinance 20 was approved to execute a three-year funding contract with Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio at $150,000 per year for garage construction and home rehabilitation within Canton. “I would just like for the members of council to vote on this and vote in a positive way because I think that it's always great when Habitat can, you know, assure a family to have a home and not just a house,” said Member Smith in urging support. The ordinance passed on roll call (10 yeas).
