Council signs out several replats for Habitat for Humanity housing projects

During the public safety and thoroughfares portion, staff presented a series of replats submitted by Habitat for Humanity of East Central Ohio to reconfigure multiple small parcels into single lots for new single-family housing.
Staff described each replat by ordinance number and location: Ordinance No. 24 (lots 23348 and 23349 at the 2300 block of 25th Street NE in Ward 9) to create a 0.233-acre lot; No. 25 (lots 8186 and 8187 at 947 Shore Avenue NW) to combine three parcels into a 0.231-acre lot; No. 26 (lots 15534 and 15535 at 315 Belton Avenue NE) to make a 0.198-acre lot in Ward 4; No. 27 (lots 3538 and 3539 at 1700 block of 2nd Street NE) to create a 0.229-acre lot; No. 29 (lots 29332 and 29333 at 1613 Wertz Avenue SW) to create a 0.183-acre lot in Ward 5; and No. 28 (lots 7879 and 7880 at 1739 3rd Street SE) to create a 0.17-acre lot for single-family housing.
Council asked no substantive questions and the chair instructed these items would be signed out for further processing and placement on the agenda. Staff repeatedly emphasized these replats are intended to support single-family housing development by Habitat for Humanity.
Because the replats were presented in committee with no objections on the record, the items were advanced without contention to the next procedural steps.
