Maywood trustees approve $606,153.63 warrant and omnibus payments including $396,841 alley work

Lightford recorded an abstention on the warrant vote.
The board also approved an omnibus package of items (A–R) that included payments for legal services, reimbursements for rehabilitation work at the Maywood Park District building (a reimbursement request totaling $82,800), and multiple public‑works and vendor payments. Notable line items in the omnibus included a $396,841.72 payment to J. Nardulli Concrete, Inc. for the 2018 Alley and Roadway Improvements Project charged to the Madison Street Tax Increment Financing (TIF) district, and payments for water services, health insurance premiums, and janitorial and computer consulting services.
The omnibus motion was moved by Trustee I. Brandon and seconded by Trustee A. Sanchez and carried by a voice vote with Mayor Edwenna Perkins and trustees H. Yarbrough, I. Brandon, A. Sanchez, K. Wellington and M. Lightford voting aye and Trustee R. Rivers noted as absent.
