Mayor Bushe introduced the resolution and asked staff to present. A staff member addressed the council and said the project, as directed by MnDOT, will remove two driveways and replace them with one driveway along Highway 2; the work will use state aid funding and therefore requires municipal approval for work within city limits.
Councilors moved and seconded the motion, the council received no public comment, and the clerk recorded a unanimous roll-call vote in favor of municipal consent.
The resolution clears the way for MnDOT to proceed with the described driveway consolidation and related improvements within the city right-of-way under state project 6908-68.
