Council approves easement from Saline Properties LLC for Hermantown Trail Project

The Hermantown City Council adopted Resolution 2025-82, authorizing the mayor and city clerk to accept an easement from Saline Properties LLC for the Hermantown Trail Project.
Mayor Bushe introduced the resolution and asked staff to address the council. Mister Wiklendt and Miss Cragle explained that the property already had an existing trail easement and that the additional easement would extend through the southern part of the parcel to advance trail development. Miss Cragle told the council there were no qualms and the easement "should be good to go."
Councilors moved and seconded the resolution, the council received no public input on the item, and the clerk recorded a unanimous roll-call vote in favor of the easement acceptance.
The easement is intended to support continuing trail development in the city; the resolution directs the mayor and city clerk to execute the acceptance on the city's behalf.
