The June 3 Altoona City Council meeting opened at 6:30 p.m. with Mayor Dean O’Connor presiding. The council approved the agenda and minutes from May 20 and May 28 by roll call. Brad Robbins of the Iowa Rural Water Association presented a scholarship to Karina Scott.
Department heads from police, fire, public utilities, public works, engineering, community development, economic development, HR, IT and finance provided routine updates during the meeting. The council adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
