Altoona council approves Meta campus site-plan amendments

The Altoona City Council on June 3 unanimously approved site-plan amendments for multiple ATN and PCI parcels at the Meta campus.
Community Development staff presented Meta’s application and outlined the proposed changes to pavement, landscaping and other site elements. Craig Bennett, a Meta representative, thanked the city, council and staff for their cooperation.
Councilmember Duer moved approval subject to remaining deficiencies being addressed; the motion passed on a unanimous roll-call vote. The approval clears the way for Meta to proceed with the amended site plans while staff and the developer complete any outstanding checklist items.
Council materials specified the approvals were subject to meeting remaining staff-identified deficiencies; no additional variances or ordinance changes were requested at the meeting.
