The Waconia Public Schools Board approved its consent agenda during the Dec. 15 meeting, confirming bills and wire transfers and a slate of personnel actions. Kelzer-Breeden moved to approve the consent agenda; Rosin seconded and the board voted all in favor.
Items on the consent agenda included new hires and replacements: Makayla Bogema as an educational assistant (SPED) at Bayview (BV), 6.75 hours/day for 175 days; Donovann Bower as educational assistant (SPED) at Waconia Middle School (WMS), 6.5 hours/day for 175 days; Heather Forsberg as ECFE teacher assistant, 4.5 hours/day for 175 days; Crystal Nelson as nutritional assistant at Lakeview (LT), 4.5 hours/day for 176 days; and Jill Stineman as Administrative Assistant I at WMS, 7.75 hours/day for 175 days. The board also recorded employee status changes (for example, Hunter Hedstrom's hours changing to 7.0/day at BV and Yoko Miyamoto's hours changing to 6.5/day at WHS), leaves of absence, and retirements/resignations.
The consent agenda additionally noted a CNC table donation and other receipts of donations. The approvals were recorded as part of the single consent motion that passed unanimously.
