Summary
The Town of Northborough Open Space Committee heard that Stantec has not yet delivered revised concept drawings for the aqueduct bridge preliminary design; the committee asked staff and a newly introduced town representative to follow up and press for Rev B of the plans.
The Town of Northborough Open Space Committee on March 23 discussed outstanding deliverables from Stantec on a preliminary design for the Aqueduct Bridge and agreed to follow up with the firm.
Glenda, the committee’s newly introduced town representative, said the committee is still waiting for Stantec to provide the preliminary design materials for the bridge and that the bridge study is a separate project from trail access work. "We're still waiting for Stantec to provide the... preliminary design study," she said.
Brian, a committee member who has copies of earlier plans, said Stantec previously shared concept drawings and should produce a revised set (referred to as "rev B"). "So I just wanna make sure that we collectively stay on them," he said, offering to share his copies and suggesting the committee remind Stantec of outstanding items.
Chair said staff should follow up: Glenda agreed to contact Stantec and "give them a little nudge" to obtain the latest files so the committee can review updated drawings and next steps.
The committee did not take formal action; the next step is for staff and the town representative to obtain Stantec’s latest materials and report back at a future meeting.
