Superintendent outlines SRO/DARE talks, summer programming and plans for AI training for teachers

During administrative updates a board member who attended a Focus Forward conference described themes including the 'adaptability gap' for future workforce needs and urged the district to prepare with training and mastery‑based approaches. The district plans teacher training on AI tools at the beginning of the school year and is exploring pilot approaches to integrate AI as a classroom tool while stressing teachers’ continued central role.
