District outlines $232 million plan to rebuild Inglewood High School; demolition expected this summer

Jordan Miles, the district's executive director of construction and facilities, told the board on March 12 that the reconstruction of Inglewood High School is the district's largest facilities project in decades and has been divided into multiple design packages to speed state review and start construction sooner.
Miles said Package 1 covers demolition of most campus buildings to the east of the gymnasium and construction of four new buildings totaling 36 classrooms, including six lab buildings, plus two non-classroom facilities for a cafeteria/multipurpose room and a student commons.
