At its May 13 meeting the Morgan County Board of Commissioners took several procedural actions by voice vote.
The board approved the March 11 minutes after a motion and second. It then voted to approve claims for April (presented at $10,458.33) and, when two appraisal fees (trainer and Valbridge) were combined, the total disbursement noted was $18,208.33. The board approved the April 15 report (year-prior revenues and expenditures) as presented.
Separately, commissioners voted to table the monthly financial report until staff provides an explanation for an approximately $10,000 variance in interest income and clarifies the rent/invoice discrepancy noted in the minutes versus the current invoice for Wallace. The chair said the board expects the responsible staff member to attend the next meeting with supporting documentation.
The meeting concluded with a voice vote to adjourn.
