Wayne, the agency’s finance lead, told the board the budget had been presented previously and reviewed by the state; he said the agency removed escrow revenues from the operating budget and that outstanding deficits identified in the 2024 audit have been cleared. "All the escrow accounts have been cleared up," he said. The board opened public comment on the budget; no members of the public spoke, and the board closed the hearing before adopting the budget by roll-call vote.
Commissioners also discussed the budget reporting forms and state DCA paperwork; a commissioner asked about inconsistent fields on the state-provided form, and staff acknowledged they cannot change DCA templates. The board then adopted its 2026 meeting schedule (second Thursday each month) and approved payment of bills listed on the agenda.
The vote to adopt the budget and the other administrative motions were recorded by roll call; the agency recorded no abstentions on the adoption vote.
