At its Nov. 3 meeting the Parker Town Council approved multiple ordinances, IGAs and resolutions without dissent. Key items approved include:
- Ordinance 1.665 (second reading) and Resolution 25-076: Quickclaim deed/annexation drainage-easement cleanup related to a prior annexation; staff said a replacement drainage easement will maintain access to a 66-inch reinforced concrete pipe; passed unanimously.
- Ordinance 9.335.0.2 (second reading): Additional construction funding amendment for the Cottonwood Meadows tributary project to reach a 50/50 match with the flood district; no new town funds required; passed unanimously.
- Ordinance 9.339.0.2 (second reading): Amendment to the Newland Gulch/Wingard Gulch drainage IGA that brings county and flood-district partners into the project; passed unanimously.
- Ordinance 9.394 (second reading): IGA to study and design Cherry Creek bank and trail improvements in reaches near Main Street; staff described phased, limited-disturbance bank work and trail fixes; passed unanimously.
- Ordinance 9.395 (second reading): Approval of a memorandum of understanding for Parker Police to join the 23rd Judicial District regional Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit; council approved the ordinance and delegated signature authority to the police chief.
- Ordinance 5.53.0.4 (second reading): Municipal code change adopting the 2023 edition of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD); passed unanimously.
All of these measures were presented by staff, discussed briefly in council Q&A and approved by unanimous voice votes. No public opposition was recorded on these items at the meeting.
