Commission advances housing-fund policy outline to council for further review

Council Member Goggin moved to advance the policy; Commissioner Lee seconded. The commission voted to move the outline forward unanimously. Staff indicated the item could return next month for action or proceed to council depending on commissioner preference.
The outline frames possible RFPs and program design to pursue replacement housing and missing-middle units, and staff said additional details (eligibility, funding amounts, and implementation steps) will be worked out before council consideration.
