"So we're requesting another 30 day referral of this item," Eklund said, noting staff and the developers were still working through redesign and documentation.
Commissioner Church moved for a 30-day referral; council member Stein seconded. Commissioners discussed whether to request a 60-day referral but staff said a 30-day referral preserves the applicants' ability to return sooner if they finish work; a 60-day referral could prevent an earlier return. The motion passed as recorded by the chair.
