The motion read, in part, “That the purchase of a John Deere Excavator 30G Excavator in the amount of $37,229.91 for the City Cemetery be approved.” The council approved the purchase by a 7–0 roll call vote; Alderpersons Lisa Buhlig, Ron Culves, Mary Davis, Eric Harbin, Keith Schramm, Dawn Seward and Shawn Taylor voted yea. Chris Baer was recorded as absent.
The council took the vote as a discrete line-item motion; no amendments or conditions were recorded in the meeting minutes. The meeting adjourned at 6:52 p.m.
