Beardstown council increases Class I-2 liquor endorsements from eight to nine

The Beardstown City Council voted to increase the number of Class "I-2" endorsements for Class C liquor licenses from eight to nine during its Oct. 8, 2024 meeting.
Alderperson Eric Harbin moved to adopt the ordinance and Alderperson Dawn Seward seconded. The measure passed by roll call vote 5–1. Voting yea were Alderperson Ron Culves, Alderperson Mary Davis, Alderperson Eric Harbin, Alderperson Keith Schramm and Alderperson Dawn Seward; Alderperson Lisa Buhlig voted no. Chris Baer and Shawn Taylor were absent.
The minutes record adoption of the ordinance but do not include an explanation for the change in endorsements or identify which business (if any) will receive the additional endorsement.
