The Butler Area School District board approved the second reading of Policy 915.1 (Relations with Community-Based Boosters and Parent Organizations) at its Feb. 9 meeting. The policy text references a concession agreement that the district will develop to include Pullman Park.
During media questions, Mr. Saeler of the Butler Radio Network asked the district for an update on Pullman Park. Dr. White said the turf installation is not complete and that the district is in ongoing discussions with Metz regarding concessions and catering. He added the district is working with Armstrong for phone and internet services and that the district hosted a Remake Learning event in December.
Mr. Mylan, reporting on facility rentals, told the board that rentals are fully booked for the upcoming season. The board recorded the policy motion as carried by unanimous voice vote.
