Joseph Walker, a staff member at Lucas Christian Academy, told the commission the school needs additional classroom space to meet reaccreditation directives from the Association of Christian Schools International. "We are asking the city of Lucas Planning and Zoning Commission to allow us to place 4 modular buildings of 2 classrooms each for a total of 8 classrooms," Walker said, adding the school did not intend to add students as a result of the change.
