District updates K–12 counseling plan and assessment data; middle school growth flagged

He said the state’s retooling of some PSA assessments contributed to shifting results, and that the district is focusing on curriculum and a K–12 math comprehensive review.
To address performance, the district is expanding MTSS and administrative rounds, using a new integrated data tool (LinkIt) to consolidate benchmarks, MTSS interventions, behavior and attendance so educators can identify students needing targeted supports and monitor progress.
What happens next: Dr. Boyers said he will return in April with an action plan focused on math and with recommendations from the curriculum program review.
