Snyder — The Snyder City Council appointed seven individuals to the Zoning Board of Adjustments and took action to certify and cancel elections where candidates ran unopposed.
Committee member (S5) moved to appoint the top seven names from the applicants list; the motion listed the appointees as David Strunk, Albert Laura, John Stewart, Miller Grantham, Melody Weaver, Johnny Gonzales and Jerry Webb. The motion was seconded and approved.
On elections, the council certified that the candidates for single-member districts 1, 3 and 4 were unopposed and voted to cancel the elections for those districts. The council voted unanimously on these procedural items.
