Greater Johnstown board approves $6.0 million in November bills, votes to withdraw from regional health-care consortium

Bruce Jordan moved the finance package, which included the General Fund bills and a resolution directing the Business Manager to notify the consortium and member districts of the withdrawal under the consortium by‑laws; Michael Allen seconded. In the roll‑call vote on the General Fund bills six members voted aye (Allen, Dadey, Jordan, Lear, Murray, and Pentz) and one member, Randy Romesberg, recorded an abstention and attached a Record of Abstention Votes form noting a family‑related reason.
The board also approved renewal rates for dental and vision coverage through the Pennsylvania State Education Association Health and Welfare Fund, approved a Service Level Agreement for E‑Rate filing services with E‑Rate Online, LLC, and adopted an Act 1 Resolution stating the district will not increase any tax rate for the 2026–2027 fiscal year by more than its index. The Cafeteria Fund bills for November (totaling $282,605.93) were approved separately.
