Staff lists advisory‑board openings and reappointments; council will act in December

Staff member Melissa reviewed advisory boards and commission seats up for reappointment during the Nov. 11 workshop and listed applicants who have reapplied.
Melissa said the Animal Center advisory committee has three seats (places 1, 3 and 5) with incumbents who reapplied; the Bryan Business Council has three openings with one incumbent not seeking reappointment; the Bryan–College Station Public Library System has two seats with incumbents seeking reappointment; and multiple seats on the Community Development Advisory Committee, Audit Committee, Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and Senior Advisory Committee are open or up for reappointment.
Council did not take action in the workshop (this session is for discussion only) and staff will bring appointments for council vote at the second regular meeting in December.
Next steps: council will review applications and vote on reappointments at the December meeting.
