The commission recommended a transfer from the Recreation Nonlapsing account, which the minutes record as having a current balance of $29,552; if the transfer is recorded, the new balance will be $27,352.
A motion to approve the $2,200 transfer was made by Laura Holmes and seconded by Ken Coyer; the motion carried. The minutes cite the Recreation Bylaws as permitting a transfer from the nonlapsing account to the Recreation budget upon council approval.
