Staff previews technical fixes to Bryan City Code Chapter 62; no vote taken

At the Feb. 19 noon meeting a staff member presented proposed text amendments to correct numbering errors and incorrect cross-references in the City Code.
"City staff has found a discrepancy in the numbering within Chapter 62, and then 2 incorrect references to other sections in Chapter 130," the staff member said while handing out memos for commissioners to review. The staff member described three specific corrections: moving the minimum-parking requirement for storage, wholesale and manufacturing uses out of a subpoint so it stands as its own point; changing a reference that currently points to a reserved section (62-251) to the correct section 106-177 for special use license information; and correcting a conditional-use reference in section 130-33 G.2 from 130-24 (Innovation Corridor Retail Services District) to the intended section 130-30.
The staff member characterized the edits as "pretty quick, easy text amendments" but formal in nature and said they will appear on a future agenda so commissioners can review and ask follow-up questions. Chair confirmed no vote was required at this meeting.
Commission discussion was brief; one commissioner said they had "so many questions" about how the discrepancies arose but declined to pursue them at the session. The presentation was informational and no formal changes were approved at the Feb. 19 meeting.
